Swag Camping tours with TravelWell are designed to offer you the perfect blend of adventure and comfort. Imagine experiencing the breathtaking landscapes and activities mentioned in our itinerary, then relaxing each night in plush swags around a cozy fire.

True to the TravelWell ethos, our camping tours ensure you stay in remote, serene locations far from the crowds. Enjoy delicious meals prepared with fresh, local ingredients, all while benefiting from the convenience and reliability of a sturdy 4WD, and a campfire at night. (Seasonally dependant).

To elevate your camping experience, we provide swags outfitted with pillows and high-quality bedding, guaranteeing a restful night’s sleep. This allows you to fully appreciate the stunning night skies of the outback in complete comfort.

Our camping setup is intentionally simple yet efficient, generally managed by an expert guide and driver/camp host. This hands-on experience includes participation in tasks like digging the bush toilet and setting up your swags, adding an authentic touch to your adventure.

Rest assured, everything listed in the itinerary is included in the tour price. We never compromise on the quality of food or experience. Our camping tours are designed for those who seek adventure but also appreciate the finer aspects of outdoor living.

To ensure you stay refreshed after long days of walking, we provide portable outdoor showers on all camping trips. These tasteful outdoor bush showers allow you to rejuvenate and enjoy the luxury of a proper 20L wash even in remote locations.

As always, TravelWell prides itself on delivering unparalleled experiences. We offer the traditional swag bush camp adventure, executed with exceptional quality and care.

For an intimate and personalized experience, we limit our camping tour group size to a maximum of 12 participants, ensuring everyone enjoys the journey to the fullest.

What we ask of you?

  • We really have put a lot of thought into this and have almost everything you could possibly need, but we do need you to bring just a few things. Such as:

  • To be ready for absolutely anything!

  • To bring a positive attitude and your best holidays smiles (we are travelling remotely, and anything can happen in the outback, a good attitude makes all the difference when things inevitably come to pass)

  • Pack Light, (But as most people are on continuing journeys) 1x 15kg bag and a Small extra is ok. Less bags makes for an easy journey

  • Bring a separate day bag and a reusable water bottle for hikes and walks

  • Bring your own charge cables for phones, cameras, etc. we bring the charging stations

  • Any personal items, toiletries and medications, a good book ect.

  • And most importantly, be your beautiful self!

  • The camping style expedition, we do require some team participation to keep the show moving. Rolling swags and helping with dishes is the biggest help for the guide. It's your tour, the more involved you get the better the experience.

What we bring!

  • A comfortable swag with All bedding, pillows, blankets, ect

  • Bush toilet (Communal) each night and shower facilities most nights, (bush camp style) 

  • Biodegradable organic soaps for showers, (And toilet paper)

  • All activities listed in the itinerary 

  • Includes helicopter flights, 15 minutes where applicable

  • Any additional activities suggested by Travelwell team , 

  • All meals from day one lunchtime

  • Personal tour guide for transport and information,

  • Camp each night, and pack down each day. with a little help it takes no time at all.

  • We allow 1 x 20kg bag, however we do recommend parking is light as possible as you are an expedition.

  • Charging station for each night, for all your electronic equipment

  • We really have put a lot of thought into this and have almost everything you could possibly need for a comfortable bush camping, swag expedition.
