The Luxurious 'Starlight Hotel' Experience With TravelWell Expeditions
Our 'Starlight Hotel' tour style redefines bush camping, elevating it to a new level of luxury. This is where our expertise in outback adventure truly shines, offering you an unparalleled wilderness experience.
While fully immersed in nature, this tour includes queen-sized hotel-style beds with mosquito nets, outdoor sit-down toilets, shower facilities, and privacy screens for changing. Essentially, we bring the comforts of a hotel room into the bush for you.
Our top-tier bush camp-style hotel accommodations are strategically spaced to maximize privacy while fostering a sense of unity within your small group. This unique blend of rugged landscapes, paired with pillows and duvets under an optional mosquito net, allows you to enjoy the breathtaking billion-star outback ceiling in complete comfort.
Regarding toilet and shower facilities, we’ve got you covered. Each campsite features adult-sized outback toilets with privacy screens. Our team of TravelWell superstars will pack and set up these facilities at each new location, ensuring they are always clean and ready for use.
Showers? Absolutely. Despite being in the bush, each evening you will have an allocated amount of water to freshen up and wash off the day's dust. (we try to keep each shower to about 20L giving you just under 10 minutes of shower time every day)
The Starlight Hotel accommodates up to 8 queen-sized beds, perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers. The overall maximum group size is 10, typically ranging from 6 to 8 people. We also accommodate single and solo travelers.

What we ask of you?
We really have put a lot of thought into this and have almost everything you could possibly need, but we do need you to bring just a few things. Such as:
To be ready for absolutely anything!
To bring a positive attitude and your best holidays smiles (we are travelling remotely, and anything can happen in the outback, a good attitude makes all the difference when things inevitably come to pass)
Pack Light, (But no real restrictions, as most people are on continuing journeys) 2x 15kg bags is ok.
Bring a separate day bag and a reusable water bottle for hikes and walks
Bring your own charge cables for phones, cameras, etc. we bring the charging stations
Any personal items, toiletries and medications, a good book ect.
And most importantly, be your beautiful self!
Starlight hotel inclusions
Queen size bed for Camping under the stars , with fly net if required.
All bedding, pillows, extra blankets, ect Towels for showers and swimming holes
Personal toilet and shower facilities each night, (bush camp style)
Biodegradable organic soaps for showers, (And toilet paper)
Changing area for privacy.
A sturdy tent if the weather changes from Perfect
All activities listed in the itinerary
Includes helicopter flights, 30 minutes where applicable
Any additional activities suggested by Travelwell team ,
All meals from day one lunchtime, we bring a qualified chef/cook for evening meals
Personal tour guide for transport and information,
Set up camp each night, and pack down each day. All you need to do is have your bag packed after breakfast we take care of the rest.
We allow up to 2 bags for personal gear, however, we do recommend packing as light as possible, you are an expedition!. We kindly do ask you to keep your bags to a maximum of two per person. (1 is more convenient for the nature of our set up)
Extra support team member on challenging hikes
Personal charging station for each night at least one per Starlight hotel set up.
We really have put a lot of thought into this and have almost everything you could possibly need.
We even bring a Starlink with us for emergencies, and will turn it on each night for an hour before everyone goes to bed so they can send a message home and update photos etc. (it will be off for the majority of the time, as to not interfere with the nature.)
