Cape to Cape Walk

Cape Leeuwin to Naturaliste TravelWell hiking expedition

The Cape to Cape walk runs 124 km along the new Leeuwin Naturaliste ridge between the lighthouses of Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin in the far south west of Western Australia. The walk features spectacular coastal forestry, scenery, fascinating geology of cliffs, caves, headlands, and rock formations over in ever-changing display of vegetation and wildflowers.

The TravelWell expedition through the Cape Trail has been designed to maximise walking and camping locations, giving you all that you have come to expect from the TravelWell brand, and we even allow some time to explore the Margaret River wineries.

Quite an interesting walk as it changes landscapes across rocky ridge lines and sandy beaches. It's for moderate to good walkers as the Sandy sections can become quite challenging. A fair level of fitness is required as the southern sections can be quite interesting when the wind and rain comes in.

But if you can brave the elements and enjoy them for what they are, the beauty of the area and the flora and fauna 2nd to none, we only walk at the time of the year when there's wildflowers on show to maximise the experience.
