8 DAY KIMBERLEY 4WD TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Broome to Naiper range
The Kimberley tour starts off with being collected in the early morning from your accommodation by your guide. Today, we drive from Broome to Derby to visit the boat at present tree, which is estimated to be about 1000 years old. We then proceed to the Mowajum Art Gallery to learn about the culture before driving down to Windjana Gorge for a short afternoon walk. From here, it's only a short drive to our evening's accommodation in a remote location specially arranged for us.
Due to the wild weather of 2023, one of the itineraries may be subject to change, particularly considering the status of the national parks in this region.

Day 2: Napier range to Bush Camp*
After a peaceful night, sleep, and remote bush camp, we leave to start an early morning adventure going into Tunnel Creek, a 350 million-year-old, (the name would suggest) tunnel, carved through the Devonian reef system That also makes up the Windjana gorge. From tunnel Creek, we then drive down to the great Northern highway and continue along the highway to Larawa Station for a beautiful night under the stars.
*due to unusual seasonal rain this accommodation may be changed to Kununurra township, until our camp has opened

Day 3: Bush camp to Mt Barnett
By now you will have realise that bush camp is a very light term for how amazing our camp setups are. This day is about exploring the area and open to the guides discretion of where they end up for the night. We like to leave this open, so you get the real feel of adventure. The options are endless at this point.

Day 5: elenbrae station to El Questro Main Station
Today, we crossed the mighty Pentecost River and see the Cockburn ranges for the first time. One of the most iconic ranges in the whole Kimberley, which leads us into the world, renowned El Questro Station. So afternoon we go on a challenging, but beautiful walk down Emma Gorge before making our way to our private campsite.

Day 7: Purnululu National Park
This morning, we go on a beautiful walk to the cathedral. Gorge, followed by a 15 minute helicopter flight over the world Heritage listed beehive dome shaped bungle bungle’s. The afternoon we go to the north side of the park and check out echidna chasm before chasing sunset somewhere in the park.

Day 4: Mt Barnett Station to Elenbrae station
With a morning walk to Manning gorge this morning is a 6 km round trip walk with a swim at the halfway point, returning to the Mt Barnett campsite for lunch before heading to Elenbrae station for the evening.

Day 6: El Questro Station to Purnululu National Park
We start the day with an early morning swim in Zebedee Springs, a crystal clear hot water pool. Not a super challenging day for walking but definitely picturesque and Beautiful. The rest of this day we drive to the bungle bungle's arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 8: purnululu National Park to Kununnurra
On our final morning, we have a leisurely breakfast before making our way to Kununnurra and showing the sites of the old river scheme and stopping at hootchery and sandalwood factory before dropping you off and saying farewell.
We can drop you off at any accommodation in Kununurra or have you at the airport for your afternoon flight if required. Additional nights can be arranged upon request if you require more time in Kununnurra.
